Darin V. Iacobelli is a Partner in the Internal Audit/Forensic Accounting Group at Nawrocki Smith LLP.  He is a graduate of the University of Scranton and received his MBA from Hofstra University.  Darin joined the Firm in 1996 and has been a Partner since 2009.  He holds the professional credentials of Certified Public Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor and Certified Fraud Examiner.  Darin serves as a Board member for the Long Island Chapter of Certified Fraud Examiners and often lectures on matters pertaining to internal audit, forensic accounting and fraud prevention and awareness. Darin consults with school districts, villages, libraries, not-for-profit organizations and small business clients where he provides internal control and fraud prevention strategies.  He also has expertise in insurance loss claim matters involving business interruption, employee theft and loss of earnings.
