Dimitris Bantileskas is a Partner in the Forensic Accounting, Consulting, and Internal Audit practice at Nawrocki Smith. Dimitris earned a BBA in Accounting from Baruch College. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified in Financial Forensic (CFF), Certified Information Technology Professional (CITP), Certified Valuations Analyst (CVA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), and has earned a Certificate in Cybersecurity Audits. He has diversified experience in managing investigations, forensic audits, compliance initiatives, enhanced earnings calculation, insurance consulting, loss or earnings, audits of agreed upon procedures and other various complex matters.  Dimitris provides leadership and support in directing financial, operational, and cybersecurity audits to determine the adequacy of internal control systems and the degree of compliance with these controls. Dimitris is also active in education, training, and research. He has assisted in the preparation of articles published in the CPA Journal. He is an active presenter at and IIA Long Island Chapter Conferences and he contributes to Nawrocki Smith by providing original content for several internal controls, anti-fraud, and data analytics training programs. He is the Vice President of Membership at the Long Island Chapter of ACFE.
